You tell me: What is love?

Sr. Chaplain Jonathan Grigsby was interviewed by Rashida Rawls for her Ocala.com column STRAIGHT, NO CHASER. Below is a snippet from Rashida’s article, ‘You tell me: What is Love?’

In my quest to find the true meaning of love, I’ve met and spoken to some wonderful people, including Paul and Pauline Levesque. Another wonderful person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting is Senior Chaplain Jonathan Grigsby, president of The Institute of Koinonia Relationships based in Atlanta.

Senior Chap, as he’s affectionately referred to by the people he counsels, is not only a relationship counselor, he’s also an author. In his book “Relationships . . . The Truth” he reveals a deeper level of love, which he calls “Koinonia.”

“Koinonia is the Greek word for fellowship which alternately means to exchange,” Senior Chap said. His Web site, www.ulied2me.com, further defines Koinonia as being “a sharing or exchange of things present, things to come, ideas, emotions, feelings, short- and long-term goals and objectives.”

Of course I had to ask him his definition of love, but wait, we’ll save his response for later.
